Kill Jonny is a multi-instrumentalist from Dallas and he’s doing just fine for himself. In "Bleed from Me", he crafts an soaring, epic emo-metal track featuring Dave Escamilla (formerly Crown the Empire) who delivers a powerful screaming verse that stands beautifully in contrast to Kill Jonny’s clean delivery. It’s dramatic, it’s emotional and if you’re a fan of quality early 2000 The Used or My Chemical Romance, then this is just what the doctor ordered.
If I had one complaint, (and I usually do) it’s the repeated line, “You’re not going nowhere”. That totally means you’re going somewhere. Other than that, absolute banger. Check it out soon.
