Tether, the debut album from Pittsburgh-based artist, Reaffinity, is a beautifully crafted release that incorporates a unique blend of styles. At 7 tracks long, this album takes you on quite the wild ride and leaves you wanting more. What a release!
While rooted primarily in the alt-rock world, Reaffinity shines here by blending elements of Hard Rock, Indie Rock, Post-Punk, Shoegaze, and more. The creatively crafted sound delivers a hypnotic energy that keeps you engaged from one song to the next. It's always refreshing to hear a release that feels this full, while at the same time new.
Anthemic vocal flows are present in each sound, and they're boosted by dynamic instrumentals and spot-on production work. We're not sure what the artist has planned next, but it's obvious that they've found "their sound", and we can't wait to hear more. We're confident that any fan of this style will feel the same.
