UP FROM HERE RELEASES NEW SINGLE - "DEAD END AVE"
Exploiting vulnerability. Breaching trust. Scarred but smarter. Wounded but wiser. Music is such a great vehicle for such emotions. The wounds are still there but the healing is too. Catharsis is key, and straightforward pop punk is the door.
This idea is illustrated beautifully in "Dead End Ave", the new offering from Up From Here. The music and arrangement are executed deftly, the chorus is catchy, and the singer has a truly incredible range. The lyrics convey sorrow while the accompanying melody is hopeful and positive. Down but not out. Sad, but optimistic. I think most of us can relate to this song on all levels, and that's an impressive feat, one not easily navigated by many. The feeling is there, and most of us know it well. Bravo, Up From Here, bravo.
