For this Video Feature we're taking a look at "T.I.K.", the newest single from New England based band Valleyheart. Before we dig into the video, we want to talk about the track itself. "T.I.K” (an acronym for Thoughts I Keep) dives into the songwriters' own mind and contemplates understanding paradoxical behaviors.
When asked about the song, member Kevin Klein had this to say. "Studying the contradictory nature of the psyche, T.I.K is about how our opposing emotions and thoughts interact. Klein shares, “I wanted those tensions and weight paralleled in the instrumentation; hence this probably being the heaviest and hardest-hitting track".
This is a powerful song. Boasting impressive vocal and instrumental work, unique transitions, and infectiously catchy choruses, the listener is left with a total Indie Rock hit. The band has done an incredible job at blending familiar elements together, while adding in their own twist to truly create a unique and anthemic sound.
As for the video, it's just as impressive as the track! We're not sure what the hell is going on here, which is why we love it so much. It's a very cinematic experience, and it plays to the song so well. Valleyheart absolutely killed it by releasing this video to accompany this track.
