New York-based Punk Rock trio, MONTE, brought the heat with their latest single, "I Hate Me More". Fast and in-your-face aggression kicks in as soon as the song starts, and the energy stays there until the last second. What a release!
Heartfelt lyricism takes the listener on a wild ride of ripping instrumentals, gritty and melodic vocal work, unique transitions, and massive Punk Rock hooks. "I Hate Me More" also boasts a unique blend of styles. The band really shines here by blending elements nostalgic of the genre with their own sound. Overall we're left with an anthemic and powerful track that leaves you excited for what's next.
We're not sure what MONTE has planned to follow the single, but we do see that they've been steadily releasing a string of catchy singles recently.
