TRACK FEATURE: ON HIGH - "GET RAD"

I used to get rad. Back in the before times, in the days of pagers and dirt weed, me and my friends would get rad with the best of 'em. Those were simpler times, with simpler tunes. Alas, the inevitability and brittleness of the passing years come for us all, and now I can only get rad in my mind. And occasionally from the safety of a stage or vocal booth. It's a young man's game, getting rad. And it's nice to know it's in the capable hands of bands like ON HIGH.
Of course, there will be comparisons to your Sum 41's and your Blink's 182 but in this case that's a good thing. Those bands wrote upbeat, uber catchy songs, and while I'm all for hardcore railing and shouting against a corrupt political system, it's nice to have a little break from all that brevity and just have fun. Strong pop punk vocals and danceable grooves combined with a great sing-along chorus, "Get Rad" is downright refreshing, and I'm not afraid to say it.
Thank you, ON HIGH. I needed that. Keep gettin' rad, and I'll keep writing positive reviews.
