An anthemic sound is beautifully crafted in "Grounded", the latest single from Germany-based duo, The Virginia Planes. Soothing and ambient elements blend with soft vocal flows over a well-produced and melodic instrumental. The sound here is also dynamic as well. This can be the perfect song to relax to or the perfect morning pick me up.
It's always refreshing to hear a song that feels new. There's a nostalgic sound that's present here, but the band really shines by being able to deliver a sound that leaves you wanting more. It looks like this is only the second song released by the duo, which is extra impressive because it's so obvious they've found "their sound". We can't wait to hear more.
