"Zipper", the latest single from Vancouver-based band, Slightest Clue, is a catchy new tune that features an anthemic blend of styles. Residing in the world of punk/indie/garage, the band has succeeded in delivering a dynamic track that can't be fully appreciated with only one listen-through.
A heartfelt vocal performance is amplified by a raw and melodic instrumental. Unique transitions keep the song feeling fresh, and spot-on production work boosts the songwriting skills to the next level. What a release! It's always refreshing to hear a song that has a strong nostalgic element while at the same time feeling new. We're not sure what the band has planned next, but we can't wait to hear more!
