MTVKID RELEASES NEW EP - "FAR FROM IT"
Helsinki-based band mtvkid just dropped their new EP, Far From It. A beautifully crafted and anthemic 5-track ride, this release comes fully equipped with a dynamic blend of styles and hypnotic energy. What a release!
Pulling from elements of Pop Punk, Indie Rock, Pop Rock, and more, the band shines by being able to deliver a sound that feels nostalgic while at the same time new. That is not an easy feat, and it's a true testament to the songwriting skills mtvkid has. Each track flows seamlessly into the next here, and that's a big reason why this release feels so full. Our only complaint? We wish it was longer! By the time Far From It is over, all you'll want to do is hear more. That's exactly the point of an EP.
Heartfelt lyricism is present in each track as listeners are handed melodic instrumentals, spot-on production work, and powerful vocal flows. If you're an avid listener of the pop punk/alternative world, this release is going to blow you away. mtvkid has been on our radar for a little while now, and there's a reason for that. We can't wait to see what they have planned next!
