TRACK FEATURE: THE INKREATS RELEASE - "RHYMING YOUR LIES"
Ya know, sometimes I feel like a real asshole. Here are The Inkreats, a very talented Street Punk band singing and playing their hearts out about an unnamed someone who has clearly upset them greatly, and I catch myself bouncing up and down like I'm listening to the frickin' Go Go's. The subject of the song, according to the lyrics, has destroyed their future and all I'm doing is having fun and smiling like an idiot. Is this wrong? Was this the plan all along? I have no idea, but it's incredibly catchy and I'm having a blast. Sorry, Inkreats, you wrote a simple, driving, infinitely listenable punk song and although I'm sure the subject is a real jerk, you made me happy. I calls 'em like I sees 'em.
