New Jersy-based artist, Your Best Nightmare, just dropped their anthemic new album, Presents: A Simple Solution For Toxic Masculinity. An 11-track ride that takes you through quite the melodic journey, this is an epic release that's tough to take off repeat. What an album!
Each track possesses poppy vocal work that's heavily boosted by heartfelt and clever lyricism. Raw and gritty instrumentals are lifted by impressive writing, unique transitions, and spot-on production work. Living in the indie/alt-rock world, this album also pulls on elements from punk, grunge, and pop rock. The end result is a dynamic sound that feels nostalgic while at the same time new. That's not an easy feat to accomplish, and it'll definitely serve as a reason listeners continue to come back to hear more.
Each track flows seamlessly into the next on this album. That was a big reason why this collection of tracks stood out to us. The entire album feels very complete and full. You can tell the writing was very intentional. The lyrical work all feels cohesive and provides an obvious theme for the release. We didn't release until a couple of listens through that this is actually the debut full-length album from Your Best Nightmare. This is an impressive debut and we can't to see what kind of attention this release brings them
