Solo artist Tate Logan has released a popping new single that is so quickly relatable, it’s like he’s outright read our minds. “Kill Me To Try” asks into the ether all the big questions one grapples with amidst years of complacency in a job, a relationship, a city, etc. We’ve all been there, wondering if there’s more to be experienced and whether any of those changes are even feasible to pursue, or whether we’ll fail miserably and end up back at square one, or somehow even worse off.
The track and its accompanying music video charm us with a brightness akin to an anime episode montage. We even hear hints of K-pop/J-pop bands like BTS in the ultra-catchy melodies sung with honeyed indie vocals over easy, slightly distorted electric guitar and lightly dancey drums. Pure indie-pop gold.
We added this track to our Underground Indie & Alternative playlist on Spotify. Check out “Kill Me To Try,” then follow Tate Logan for more artist updates.
