With Swedish Thrash band METHANE's new single, "I Fuck For Beer", you get exactly what you expect, and that's a compliment.
Completely devoid of metaphor, subtlety or pretension, these lovable degenerates simply wrote a really good thrash song about the lengths they'd go for the taste of a sweet, sweet cerveza, and spoiler alert, they'd fuck for one.
I really don't wanna gussy this review up with colorful phrases and flourishes. I feel that would disrespect what the guys are doing here. It's not Rush, it's not Dream Theater, it's a thrash song about REALLY needing a beer and it's funny, self-aware, and really enjoyable, so let's just leave it there. I, too, have been known to fuck for beer, (just not PBR) and I salute thee.
