CHEER UP DUSTY RELEASES NEW SINGLE - "THE SHIP THAT COULDN'T SINK"

"I could be a nice guy or a good man: both forgive but only one forgets." What a great line. If you can't relate to that, you need to get out more. We've all had friends and associates that didn't have our best interests at heart, people who chose spite over grace, and the new offering from Pop Punkers CHEER UP DUSTY is a really well-written "Adios, amigos" to those very same influences.
Catchy and upbeat, it manages to be scathing and honest but not mean-spirited. That's tough to pull off, and it earns my respect as well as a second listen. From the galloping verses to the big, anthemic chorus, this song reminds us that bad people and experiences are only harmful if we allow them to be: in the end, it's all about our reaction and how we choose to move forward. Wisdom and fortitude are key, along with a good sense of humor. Moreover, it's just a really enjoyable listen.
We got this added to our Underground Punk playlist on Spotify.
