"Immersion" is a genre-bending single that was released late last year by Lubbock-based band, Jeune. In collaboration with Bastion, this is an absolute banger of a jam that'll leave you smashing repeat once it's over. What a release!
Boasting a unique blend of heavy and melodic styles, this track floats in and out of different track spaces and energies. Heavy-handed instrumentals take you through a wild ride of gritty vocal flows that are periodically cut clean by soft and angelic vocals. The instrumental itself also dives in and out of heavier and lighter elements. It's the perfect smash and orchestrated chaos caused by metal and indie/alt-rock. What a cool and unique combo!
We're not sure if the artists plan to collab again in the future, but "Immersion" definitely leaves you wanting more. You can check out the music video for the single below.
