"Roots" is the debut single from Tampa-based metal band, Deadweight. Released last year, this track comes fully equipped with ripping instrumentals under a powerful and hypnotic vocal performance. This is an absolute banger that any fan of the genre is going to love.
Stumbling across this track led us to check out the new single, "Malice", by the band. They might only have two songs out, but it's obvious that Deadweight has found "their sound" and we can't wait to hear what's next! Instrumentals are heavy, transitions are unique, the songwriting is on point, and the production work is spot-on. If you're a metalhead, make sure to put Deadweight on your radar.
