Ontario-based metalcore heavyweights, Counterparts, have delivered yet another timeless classic with their latest single, "Whispers of Your Death". With a band of this caliber, and who's been in the scene this long, you come to expect the best with each release. We realize, however, that expecting the best can sometimes lead to disappointment. We've known that Counterparts have been working on new music for a while now, and holy shit, the band exceeded our expectations.
"Whispers of Your Death" is the second single released from the band's upcoming seventh album, A Eulogy For Those Still Here, which will be out through New Damage Records on October 7th of this year. We were already excited about the new album before, but now we're counting down the days. There's a heartbreaking element in this track that encompasses the band's impressive songwriting skills. Everything hits as it should. From the earth-shattering breakdowns to the powerful vocal performance, this single has us ready for what's next.
