THE UNDERBITES RELEASE NEW SINGLE - "THE RULING CLASS"

Let's be honest: since its humble beginnings, punk rock has been a weapon. When put in the right hands and wielded correctly, it's a pretty formidable one at that. The Have-Nots have always sought ways to strike back against the misdeeds and hypocrisy of the Haves and punk is a pretty perfect assault vehicle for just such an endeavor. En mass, the downtrodden have much more power than they often realize, sometimes it just takes a movement or idea to get them to unite.

Such is the new release from The Underbites. I'm not saying it's gonna change the world, but the message is clear: "The Ruling Class" only have the power we the people choose to give them.

As for the delivery, I'm getting a bit of classic, mid-tempo Rancid or Frenzal Rhomb with the vocal delivery of Mike Ness or The Goober Patrol. Which is to say that it's good, driving punk rock with an important message, delivered in a very listenable way. Great musicianship and catchy lyrics are always a good means of conveying an important message, and The Underbites are right on top of that, Rose.
