The latest release from pop punk and emo-inspired Cleveland band As Time Fades explores chaos and consciousness, loss of self-awareness amid the commotion of everyday, mundane life. “Invisible” is classic pop punk, but with a fresh arrangement that stars two lead vocalists swapping lyrics throughout, as well as subtle, sweet harmonies, and the added surprise of Elbow Room’s stark callbacks. Double-time drums in the chorus kick everything up a notch, while a breakdown later in the track allows for a decent amount of headbanging. This track has it all.
