TRACK FEATURE: UGHH - "CRUEL MASTER"

There are a ridiculous number of geese who have recently taken up residence in my neighborhood lake, and they are a constant source of dismay. Their bowel movements can only be described as 'unsettling'. They are ornery, identical, hissing little cobra chickens and every day they cross a very busy intersection in droves, to the further dismay of myself and other motorists. (I could make a reference to the term 'goose stepping' here but I won't, you're welcome.) We all wait patiently as their giant webbed feet flop along and it's a good thing, because they take their sweet, sweet time every time.

Now I'm not implying that I would ever intentionally hurt another living creature, but if I were to play UGHH's hardcore gem "Cruel Master" at full volume the next time I see the little bastards, it would be exceedingly hard to fight the urge to pull a little GTA on em, especially resembling living bowling pins as they do. Again, I say this all in jest, but if that song is blasting and I'm feeling a certain type of way, it would definitely cross my mind. Repeatedly.

"Cruel Master" is a bit of a cruel masterpiece (see what I did there?) and it's just the short burst of unbridled aggression I needed after another bland, milk toast day. From the driving opening riff to lead vocals that are more howled than sung, this one is sure to open up more than a few pits, and my best advice for pedestrians and waterfowl alike is simply this: cross at your own risk.

Now stop reading and start listening.
