For this Track Feature, we're taking a look at "Gymnasium", the new single from Toronto based Indie Rock band Odd Postures. To get straight to the point, this is a powerful and overall impressive release from the band. Formed by members of a previous project called "The Corner", this is actually the debut release from the group. What a debut!
The track takes you on quite a journey. Anthemic and beautiful instrumentals are complimented by cooling vocal melodies and unique transitions. The Indie Pop - styled production makes this song hard to not leave on repeat. Odd Postures let us know that one goal of this project is to have a strong visual element alongside their music, so listeners can expect cinematic content to accompany the release soon. To us, that makes perfect sense. One thing we love about "Gymnasium" is how visual the song truly is. Lay back, close your eyes, and give this song a stream... you'll see what we mean. Your mind almost immediately starts to create your own custom video to the track.
