For this Track Feature, we're taking a look at "Better Times", the newest single from German Post-Hardcore band MRS GOAT. Written to address self-destructive thoughts and behavior, and to draw more attention to mental health issues, this is a powerful track. Elements of Hardcore, Punk, Hard Rock, Emo and more blend together here, leaving the listener with an anthemic and unique track.
A catchy guitar lick draws you into the song immediately, and from there you're handed impressive instrumental and vocal work, unique transitions, sing-along hooks, and an earth-shattering breakdown. Admittedly, this was our first time listening to the band, but "Better Times" has guaranteed that it will not be the last.
