Pittsburgh-based band, Griffen Handshake, recently dropped their most recent single, "Backwards Country". Pulling you in with an infectious and melodic energy, this track takes you on quite a wild ride and leaves you wanting more. A beautiful blend of punk rock and alt-rock elements, the band shines by being able to deliver a refreshing sound that feels nostalgic while at the same time new.
Fully equipped with big poppy hooks, the hypnotic vocal flows are boosted heavily by ripping instrumentals and spot-on production work. We're not sure what the band has planned next, but this single led us to check out the rest of their discography. If you dig what you hear, you fortunately have a good amount of tunes to jam while you wait for their next release!
