London-based band, The Outers, just dropped their anthemic new single, "Twenty". Boasting poppy vocal flows over a well-produced and dynamic instrumental, this is an indie/alt-rock anthem that pulls from a few styles in that genre umbrella. Elements of post-punk, new wave, and pop rock all make an appearance, and The Outers shine brightly by being able to blend everything together to deliver a refreshing and nostalgic sound.
It looks like the band has been busy steadily releasing music over the last few years. We took a deeper dive into their discography and found ourselves pleasantly surprised by how many bangers they have in their arsenal! The Outers have definitely found "their sound", and they're a project that every fan of the indie/alt world needs to keep on their radar.
