Austin, TX-based trio, don't get lemon, just dropped their new album, Have Some Shame. A 9-track ride that takes you through a melodic journey, this is a catchy set of songs that any fan of the indie/alt-rock/pop world will love. What a release!
Boasting an infectious energy that's boosted heavily by hypnotic vocal flows, anthemic instrumental work, and unique transitions, the band shines brightly by being able to deliver a sound that feels nostalgic while at the same time new. The writing style on this album also stood out to us very quickly. By pulling from elements of multiple genres under the indie/alt world, don't get lemon succeeds in handing listeners a sound that'll leave you wanting more.
Each track flows seamlessly into the next on this album. That's one big reason why Have Some Shame feels so complete and full. We're not sure what don't get lemon has planned next, but we know that this album serves as an impressive introduction to their sound.
