U.K. based band Take Breath just released their debut EP "The Hell in All I Held Too Close" the other day. A 4 track banger, it's hard to believe this is the debut release from the band. The songs flow together very well here, overall making it an impressive release.
Blending styles of Metalcore and Melodic Hardcore, the band adds in their own influences to give them their own style. One thing that stands out from this release is the unique songwriting structures. In one minute you can be gently swaying back and forth to a calming and anthemic melody, the next you're headbanging to aggressive and powerful instrumentals with screamed vocals.
We're not sure what Take Breath has planned next, but we're excited, and that's exactly what an EP is supposed to do. Make sure to follow the band (linked above) to see what else they have going on.
