New Zealand indie rock band Tablefox have just released a bright new single entitled “Time.” From the outset we hear new wave style guitar, consistent bass lines, and a clear, pleasant vocal style. The chorus kicks it up a notch with waves of resounding guitar and delayed vocals. We love the indie new wave vibe of this track and its important lyrical theme, which discusses the value of time and striving to moderate meaningless, time-monopolizing activities. This optimistic, sincere track offers real substance both lyrically and musically.
