If you’ve ever been traveling through space-time, quietly minding your business, when you feel the sudden and overwhelming pull of dark gravity silently drawing your ship precipitously nearer an unyielding and immense quasar, you will understand the unavoidable appeal of this magnetic new single from indie artist Old Fashioned Bleeding Hearts.

The opening of “Vertigo Green” is exactly like that 80s synthwave ditty your ship’s mechanic casually wrote on a dope 61 key mini Casio stumbled upon in the ship’s cargo hold. But take that classic rhythm patch with looped bass line and slingshot it around the solar system to pick up disaffected quarter moon vocals and immensely driving supernova guitarmonies. Then, coalesce it all into a kaleidoscope of loops and layers exuding destructive gravitational force. By the end of the track you’ll be past the event horizon with no return. We look forward to all this band has to offer in the future, on the other side of the wormhole.

We added this track to our Underground Indie & Alternative playlist on Spotify. Get sucked into “Vertigo Green” and follow Old Fashioned Bleeding Hearts for future updates.
