Cleveland-based band, Bury The Pines, just dropped their powerful new single, "All Quiet (On the Midwestern Front)". This is a dynamic new tune that takes you on a wild ride and leaves you ready for more. Pulling you in with hypnotic instrumental work, you're soon handed soothing vocal flows that periodically get a boost from light screams. The writing is unique, the transitions keep you engaged from start to finish, and the production work is spot-on. What a release!
The instrumental is a serious highlight of this track (though I'm not taking anything away from the anthemic vocal work). Just as soon as you think you have the song figured out, you're thrown in a different direction. That's a huge reason why this song stood out to us. It has a feeling of nostalgia, but the writing style overall is very unique and refreshing. Elements of Emo, Alt-Rock, Math Rock, and Pop Rock all make an appearance here. Bury The Pines shines brightly by being able to blend these styles into one impressive sound. We can't wait to hear more!
