The track’s opening is almost completely bare bones with oscillating synth, unaffected electric guitar, soft bass, and warm, approachable vocals. The chorus effortlessly blossoms into a slightly expanded soundscape with meditative percussion and vivid bursts of piano. It’s a refreshing palate cleanser amid modern indie tropes and we find it fitting accompaniment to any restful day off.
