U.K. based band Fairway just released their new single "Without You". Only the second release from the band, it's an overall impressive track, and it's left us excited and wanting more.
One thing that drew us into this track was the unique style it presents. Elements of Pop Punk and Alt Rock drive this instrumental, while the vocals boast a catchy and anthemic flow. You can tell that the band has really found "their sound" here. While there's aspects of this track that are reminiscent of some major players in the genre, Fairway has fused their influences in with their own style, leaving us with a unique and powerful track.
The journey that a song takes you on is important. It's what keeps you engaged, and wanting to listen, and it's also what makes you want to return to the track when it's over. "Without You" takes on quite a journey, both instrumentally and lyrically. Unique transitions keeps the listener interested, while the band delivers on every expectation.
