Denver based Metalcore band, Voidatlas, recently dropped their debut EP, Surrounding. A 3-track ride that boasts powerful instrumentals, hypnotic vocal flows, and spot-on production work, this is an impressive debut that will no doubt bring the band a fresh wave of new fans. Enjoy!
Boasting a melodic blend of styles under the Metal umbrella, the band shines brightly here by delivering a sound that feels nostalgic while at the same time new. Each song comes fully equipped with heavy-handed and impressive instrumental work while unique transitions keep you engaged from start to finish. We're not sure what they have planned next, but this is a band that every fan of the style should keep on their radar.
Even though this EP is short, it feels very full and complete. Each track seamlessly flows into the next here, and that's a big reason why we feel Voidatlas crushed it. Our only complaint is that we wished this release was longer. By the time Surrounding is over, all you'll want to do is hear more, and that's exactly what an EP is supposed to do.
