Atlanta-based artist, Herman Martinez, recently dropped their new album, Immortal Jellyfish. Coming in at an epic 18 tracks long, this is an incredibly unique and powerful release that will leave you coming back for more. What a wild ride!

You're taken on quite the journey here as each track flows seamlessly into the next. It's hard to make an album feel cohesive, especially when it's this long. Herman Martinez really shines here by being able to craft a set of songs that feel like they belong together. That makes the album feel complete and full, not just like a collection of songs. The style of this release is also very unique. Multiple elements under the "Rock" umbrella make an appearance. Hard Rock, Classic Rock, Art Rock, Indie, and Alternative are all present. The end result is a dynamic sound that any fan of the rock n roll world will love.

The overall experience of this album is very cinematic. On our second listen-through, we just sat back, closed our eyes, and let the album paint its own picture. We highly suggest you do the same. There's a trippy energy that's present through the songs, and the impressive writing style does a great job of pulling everything together tight. Hypnotic vocal work is a constant through the release, and it's boosted heavily by beautifully crafted instrumentals and spot-on production work. We're not sure what Herman Martinez has planned next, but we can't wait to find out!

You can jam along to the new album in its entirety below. We also added a couple of our personal favorites to our Underground Indie & Alternative playlist on Spotify. If you like what you hear, make sure to follow Herman Martinez so you can stay on top of what else they have going on. Enjoy!
