U.K.-based band, Cloud House, recently dropped their powerful new album, Still Here. A 7-track ride full of poppy vocal work, bright instrumentals, and spot-on production work, this is an absolute anthem that any fan of the indie and alternative rock world will love. What a release!
Incorporating a pop-rock element into their alternative sound, the band shines brightly here by being able to deliver a set of tracks that feel nostalgic and refreshing at the same time. Each song flows seamlessly into the next, and that's probably a huge reason why this album feels so complete. Instead of a random collection of songs, Still Here feels like a complete journey that takes you from start to finish.
Emotional and heartfelt lyrical work maintains a big presence throughout the release. Boosted heavily by impressively performed and well-produced instrumentals, the songwriting ties everything together and leaves you wanting more. We're not sure what the band has planned next, but Cloud House is definitely an artist every fan of the genre needs to keep on their radar. We can't wait to hear more!
