VIDEO FEATURE: VIRGINITY - "IamYOUareMEtoo"

Hypnotic vocal flows and a poppy Indie/Punk instrumental lead the listener through a journey of unique transitions and catchy hooks in "IamYouareMEtoo", the new single from Florida based band Virginity. Written as a personal parody about the narcissism of love songs, the lyricism in this track mold perfectly into its production. leaving us with a certified bop that's hard to take off repeat.

"IamYouareMetoo" (man that sucks to type) is the lead single from the band's new album "POPMORTEM" which will be out in October through Smartpunk Records. If you're digging this track, then you're in luck, because we're told this is only just a taste of what fans can expect from the new record. You can browse the band's Pre-Order vinyl and merch bundles HERE.

When asked about the new track, lead vocalist Casey Crawford had this to say - “It’s ostensibly a love song about my wife but also about how once things are coming from your perspective they kind of cease to be about the thing you’re writing about. I definitely have a narcissistic bent to me that I’m constantly fighting. I remember writing a song about my wife from our EP Death to the Party called ‘Can I Borrow Your Mistakes,’ and I intended it to be a sweet song but it really came off more like me shitting on myself and I literally told her ‘sorry every song I write about you is really about me,’ which wound up being the chorus to this song."

We added this track to our Underground Punk playlist on Spotify. Check out the music video for the new single below. Just a heads up, this thing is infectiously catchy, and will most likely be stuck in your head for the rest of the day... but you'll be stoked about that! Make sure to follow Virginity to see what else they have going on, and to stay on top of updated info about their new album.
