For this Video Feature we're taking a look at "Why-Phy" the new single from U.K. based Alt-rock trio Switchdown. We'll get more into the track later, but goddamn is this a fun listen. As for the Video, the band definitely shows how much fun they have while playing it!
Formed back in 2018, Switchdown has a few singles and an EP under their belt. This track definitely comes across as a release from a more tenured band, which is great because it shows that the group has found "their sound". Impressive instrumentals kick this song off from the start, taking the listener down a journey of on point vocal work, catchy choruses, top notch production and unique transitions.
The video speaks for itself. The band is having a blast here, which is pretty reflective of what we looked like while writing this article in front of our computer screen. The listener is left incapable of standing still while "Why-Phy" is playing. We're not sure what the band has planned next, but we can't wait to find out!
