In late March, D.C. based Alternative Rock/Post-Punk band Tired All The Time released one of our favorite tracks of the year. "The Board" is a powerful track that blends melodic instrumental work with lyricism that hits way too close to home. I mean... The first line of the song is "you can't invent any reason why this doesn't suck". Apply that to whatever the fuck you want and it'll make sense.
From what we can tell, the band is only a few years old. With a string of singles and an EP under their belt, they have an impressive sound for a band with such a short discography. After checking out all of their tunes, "The Board" is the standout piece in our opinion. Impressive and anthemic instrumental work drives this track through a 4-minute journey that's way too easy to leave on repeat.
