TRACK FEATURE: THE GROGGY DOGS - "THE COAST OF HIGH BARBARY"

For this Track Feature, we're bringing you a new single from The Groggy Dogs! The track is called "The Coast of High Barbary" and let me tell you, it is a full journey into the character this band has created for itself! If you ever wished Blackbeard, Long John Silver, and Jack Sparrow started a band together, your wishes have come true.

Fans of Flogging Molly and Dropkick Murphys will feel right at home as soon as the track sets sail. You get that classic punk guitar and drums sound layered with violin and accordion that any self-respecting pirate band has to incorporate. The bouncy rhythm and melodies of the vocals seem oddly appropriate in the year that brought back the sea shanty. These pirate punks will no doubt get a nice boost in exposure with songs like this. "The Coast of High Barbary" makes you wish you were listening to it live in an old pub, drinking a big wooden mug of beer with your mateys.

This is only the third single from The Groggy Dogs, but rest assured we will be following their treasure map to see what they bring us next. Be sure to follow the band so you can adventure with them whenever new music drops, and check back here for even more new music! We added this track to our Underground Punk playlist on Spotify. You can stream the new single below.
