Indie rockers The Eiffels are serving up dance beats and pop themes in their new single “Collide,” which they call “a love letter to the nights we lose ourselves on the dance floor.” For many of us, it’s a feeling we’ve sorely missed this past year - heading out with your friends, bar hopping through the nightlife district, ending up at a packed club where despite being complete strangers, everyone is singing the same lyrics, miming the same air guitar solos, and generally reveling in the moment. The track’s off-kilter opening, plucky little guitar phrasing, running bass, high energy drums, and synthy overtones set the stage for this Strokes-style upbeat indie pop rock track unmistakably designed for the dancefloor.
