"Heart of Glass", the latest single from U.K.-based alternative project, Death of Death, is a catchy new tune that explores a creative and unique blend of styles. Vocal work on the track ranges from mellow whispers to big and airy hooks, while the instrumental boasts an equal blend of eerie and dancey elements. Overall, we're left with a refreshing new tune that leaves us excited to hear more.
The blend of styles in this track caught us almost immediately. Elements of Alternative Rock and Post-Punk take a lead here while you're also handed elements of Pop and Garage Rock. While jamming out to "Heart of Glass", you're consistently being hit with different aspects that keep you engaged. Whether it's the ripping guitars, the soft piano, groovy bass lines, hypnotic vocal flows, or the unique transitions, this track builds upon its journey and keeps the listener along for the ride.
We're not sure what the band has planned next, but we're ready for it.
