"Gone" is the latest single dropped by California-based trio, Accepting the Aftermath. Starting off a slow burn, the track ends up taking you on quite the melodic ride. Distorted guitars are boosted by groovy bass lines, crashing drums, and spot-on production. Soft and poppy vocal flows soar over the instrumental and add a nostalgic element to the sound. Overall, this is a solid jam that any fan of the indie/alt-rock world will love.
Pulling you in with a simple guitar lick and heartfelt lyrical work, "Gone" keeps you engaged from start to finish with unique transitions, big hooks, and solid songwriting. The band has been staying busy releasing a string of singles this year. We're not sure what they have planned next, but this track serves as an impressive introduction to their writing style. If you like what you hear, we highly suggest you dive into the rest of their discography.
You can jam along to the new single below. We also have it added to our Underground Indie & Alternative playlist on Spotify. Make sure to follow Accepting the Aftermath so you can stay on top of what else they have going on. Enjoy!
