Have you ever listened to a song, and by the time it's over, you're just left sitting there thinking "What the fuck?" Well, that's exactly what "DIG!", the debut single from NYC art-punk band This Holy Rodeo, will do to you. Don't get us wrong, we mean that in a good way. What a unique style the band has created here, and what a debut!

Rooted in elements of garage/indie/punk, the band shines here by blending styles with unique time signatures and very very unique transitions. On your first couple of listens, you have no idea what's going on. By your third or fourth, you find yourself recognizing the beauty that lives in this chaos. This might be the most unique track we've heard all year, and it's honestly refreshing.

In a lot of ways, a debut can be a make or break for a band. It's the first time you're showing the world what you're all about. That's important, especially in the digital era where anyone can listen to anything. We have to give it up to This Holy Rodeo here. They've delivered on an anthemic, unique, and powerful debut that's left us wanting to hear more.

We added this track to our Underground Punk playlist on Spotify. Make sure to follow the band (linked above) to see what else they have going on. Check out the new single below!
