U.K.-based band, The Würmen, just dropped their new EP, vas deferens. A quick and melodic 4-track ride, this is an anthemic set of tracks that boasts an infectious energy. Elements of punk, garage, grunge, and straight-up rock n roll are all present here, leaving listeners with a rowdy new release that'll no doubt bring the band a fresh wave of fans. What a release!

Relying on the more raw side of the indie/alt-rock world, this EP pulls you in from track one and keeps you engaged until the end. Each song flows seamlessly into the next, which is a big reason why the release feels so complete. Every song is not the same either. The emotion definitely changes throughout the release. This can be noticed even between the first and second songs. The Würmen shines here by being able to deliver a sound that feels nostalgic while at the same time new.

By the time vas deferens is over, all you'll want to do is hear more, and that's exactly what an EP is supposed to do. We're not sure what the band has planned next, but it's obvious that they've found "their sound". We can't wait to hear more! The Würmen is a band that every fan of the genre needs to keep on their radar.

You can jam along to the new EP in its entirety below. We also added a couple of our personal favorites to our Underground Punk playlist on Spotify. If you like what you hear, make sure to follow The Würmen so you can stay on top of what else they have going on. Enjoy!
