THE IDIOT KIDS RELEASE NEW ALBUM - "CHAPELS"

Detroit-based band, The Idiot Kids, just dropped their new album, Chapels. The second album dropped by the trio, this is a wild 12-track ride that boasts an anthemic blend of styles. While rooted in the world of punk, the band incorporates elements of garage rock, pop rock, alt-rock, and straight-up rock n roll. The end result is a dynamic sound that any fan of the genre is going to love. What a release!

Each track flows seamlessly into the next here, and we think that's a big reason why this album feels so full. The energy kicks off hard from the introduction track and stays there until the final anthem. Ripping instrumentals are present in each song, boasting a raw sound that's nostalgic while at the same time feeling new. The poppy vocal performance in each song is boosted by clever lyricism and hypnotic melodies. We're not sure what the band has planned next, but we can't wait to see what kind of attention this killer new release brings them!

It's always refreshing to come across a new album like this. Chapels is a perfect example to show that the punk rock n roll word is still alive and well. As long as they are artists like The Idiot Kids making original, heartfelt, and powerful music, the scene will continue on. This is a band that every fan of this style needs to keep on their radar.

You can jam along to the new album in its entirety below. We also added a couple of our personal favorites to our Underground Punk playlist on Spotify. If you like what you hear, make sure to follow The Idiot Kids so you can stay on top of their future releases. Enjoy!
