Canadian Alternative/Pop Punk band The Dirty Nil just released their new single "Doom Boy". To put it simply, this track rips! We had the chance to get this track a few days before its release, and we've been jamming it non stop.
One thing that stood out to us about "Doom Boy" is how unique of a song it is. Not only with the structure, but how it seamlessly switches between genres. The track starts off with a heavy chugging guitar before shifting gears into the Indie Punk sound that The Dirty Nil is known for. The choruses in this track are incredibly catchy as well. Our favorite part of "Doom Boy" is the breakdown. That's right... this song boasts an epic breakdown!
"Doom Boy" is from the bands upcoming LP which will be announced at a later date. We dug this song so much we added it to our Underground Punk Spotify Playlist, and it's safe to say that this track will definitely be on our "Best of 2020" list at the end of the year.
