Brooklyn-based artist, Tea Eater, just dropped their new album, Obsession. An anthemic 11-track ride, this is quite the release that takes you through an epic journey of garage, post-punk, indie, and alt-rock elements. What a release!
It's always great to come across something that feels new. Tea Eater really shines here by being able to creatively craft a sound that's both nostalgic and fresh. Each track seamlessly flows into the next, making the album feel very full. Poppy vocal flows are present in each track, complimented heavily by diverse and well-performed instrumentals. Unique transitions keep you engaged in each track, and the spot-on production work ties everything together. The end result is a hypnotic set of songs that'll pull you in with infectious energy and keep you closely listening from start to finish.
