Opening with an earnest acoustic lead, the track soon blossoms into a dynamic mix of syncopated metalcore instrumentation and sensitive vocals. It’s rare that we hear this style of music sans heavy vocals, but rather with delicately balanced melody and harmony vocal lines. This drastically alters the ambience of Southpost’s music and we absolutely adore it.
The genuine, melancholic narration in this track has a poignant, profound effect that will rouse feelings of compassion and empathy from the depths of your otherwise hardened soul.
