Sweden-based Metal band, Sickrecy, recently unleashed their new EP, Split with Barren. A 6-track ride that comes fully equipped with ripping instrumentals, killer vocal flows, and impressive writing, this is a dynamic set of songs that any fan of the genre will love. What a release!
Shredded guitars are boosted by earth-shattering bass lines and crashing drums. The vocal performance is heavy, gritty, and hypnotic. Add in the spot-on production and unique transitions and you're left with a killer release that'll leave you smashing repeat once it's over. Our only complaint? We wish it was longer! By the time Split with Barren is over, you'll be left wanting more, and that's exactly what an EP is supposed to do.
Each track flows seamlessly into the next here. That's why this release feels so complete and full. That's not an easy feat to accomplish. Sickrecy shines brightly by being able to deliver a sound that feels both nostalgic while at the same time new. Split with Barren serves as an impressive introduction to their sound.
