Mental health, faith, and loyalty are at the forefront of the newest release from Floridian punk band Seven Fly. “Save Me” holds a lens to complex inner and interpersonal issues through the wizardry of choir-worthy melodies and gripping instrumental work.
Though the band is self-described pop punk, we hear a mix of pop punk and hardcore vocals over instrumental sections featuring the heavy hallmarks of metalcore. This is a grueling track, yes, but it hints at the hopeful promise of complete catharsis. Close your eyes and see.
