Hot guitar, full bass, and thick drums race off from the start in this new single from Florida pop punk band Seven Fly. “Bound to Fail” is the latest single to drop from an album centered around the theme of “pushing yourself when you’re under the most pressure.” As emergency personnel (paramedic and firefighter) who have faced up increasingly complex challenges in the past year, the band’s members are keenly aware of the struggle to push through difficult times and to remember that there are better times ahead. With influence from both classic and modern pop punk, this engaging track deftly balances a challenging subject with uplifting musical motifs.
